About Us

Nuclear technologies are used in a host of applications ranging from energy production to medical treatment and diagnosis to food processing. The Foundation for Nuclear Studies provides a forum for the discussion of these technologies and more with the objective of helping policymakers make informed decisions regarding nuclear technology issues. In pursuit of its mission, the Foundation for Nuclear Studies sponsors a series of educational briefings, site tours, and salon dinners that cover a broad spectrum of nuclear-related topics. In 2020 and 2021, the Foundation for Nuclear Studies produced a number of virtual events, including video conversations with elected officials and thought leaders and virtual facility tours.
